Tornado? Hurricane? Chemical spill? Flood? The thing these all have in common is they can catch us by surprise. With proper planning, we can all ensure our own safety as well as the safety of our animals. We are firm believers in families preparing emergency preparedness plans before disaster strikes.

What can I do?

You might be surprised at how you can help a disaster relief effort. Sure, people are needed out in the field scooping animals from harm's way. Plenty of folks are also needed to keep track of these folks via whatever communications are available. More are needed to intake animals and care for them. There really are myriad ways to help.
